Welcome to Anew, a site dedicated to The New Avengers, the 1970s "sequel" to the cult classic British series The Avengers. The spy series ran from 1976 to 1977, and saw the return of Patrick Macnee as John Steed, with two new assistants in the shape of Gareth Hunt as Mike Gambit, and Joanna Lumley as Purdey. Together they solved an array of often bizarre cases in Britain, France, and Canada. Here you'll find lots of goodies related exclusively to The New Avengers and the people behind it.
